One of the key goals of transitioning to a green economy is to make electrical energy the primary energy source for facilities. This is due to the global availability of this technology, the ease of generating electricity internally within facilities, and the rapid advancement in energy storage technology.

After completing the transition of facilities from fuel-based to electricity-based energy and ensuring that electricity consumption is minimized, the role of the renewable energy department comes into play. This department is responsible for the design, supply, implementation, and maintenance of renewable energy systems, whether they are solar (both electrical and thermal), wind, or geothermal systems. These systems are designed to meet the facility’s energy needs, ultimately aiming to achieve the highest goal: a zero-energy bill.
